A Very Unmerry Early November is the thesis project that Danielle wrote, produced, and edited to complete her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at the University of Nebraska - Lincoln. Collaborating with 20 of her film school peers, the film was shot in November 2017 over the course of 6 days and is currently being submitted and shown in film festivals across the country.

As of December 2018, the film has shown in the UNL Nebby's Film Festival receiving Achievement in Editing, The Prairie Lights Film Festival, The Film Streams Local Filmmaker Showcase, and The Palm Springs International Comedy Festival.
